Complex science has been my day job for years. I hold a BSc in Biological Sciences, so I don’t need your science explained to me twice.
I’ve spent my career inside the companies actually building African healthtech.
- BioVana Research: Building ICP strategy and campaign systems that turn biobank infrastructure into inbound interest from investors and research partners.
- 54gene: Making genomics understandable without watering down the science at one of Africa’s most-funded biotech companies.
- Syndicate Bio: Positioning a genomics company as it stepped out of stealth.
- 7RiverLabs: Positioning Nigeria’s first advanced diagnostics platform, building trust where there was no existing reference point.
- DébboAfrica: Built the ICP strategy that turned their women-only space into a real, active community.

ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Faridah Giwa-Bello, a Content Marketing Specialist with 4+ years of experience. I started in healthcare and life sciences, helping teams turn complex concepts into messaging people could understand.
Along the way, I worked with incredible teams on projects like:
- 54gene: Content and social marketing strategy after a $15M Series A and $40M Series B
- 7RiverLabs: Launch of Nigeria’s first advanced diagnostic platform
- Syndicate Bio (now Direct by Syndicate Bio): Out-of-stealth positioning, global partnership formation, and early planning of the Direct test request platform
- DébboAfrica: Early positioning and newsletter kickoff
These experiences taught me that clarity and trust are human traits, and SaaS brands need those same principles to truly connect with users.
